What surfaces can your rental be set-up on?
The Funhaus inflatables/ games can be set up on grass, asphalt, or indoor surfaces. For grass set ups, we include spikes for each unit that MUST be used as anchoring points to ensure the unit is safe for use. Please do no set up units over irrigation lines, sprinklers, septic, etc. Asphalt set ups require tarps and sand bags/ water bags, ratchet straps for anchoring at an additional cost. We cannot set up on dirt, woodchips, un-sodded lawns, or gravel surfaces due to safety issues.
Is there a waiver to sign?
Waivers must be signed by a legal parent or guardian for anyone under the age of 18. You can find a link to this waiver online:
What type of power is required?
The Funhaus inflatables/ games plugs into a standard 110 household outlet. Each blower uses 8-12 amps so a dedicated 15-amp circuit is required for each blower. We will supply the cord, and we ask that nothing else is plugged into the outlet/circuit being utilized for the blower/ inflatable unit; we are not liable for any potential electrical overloads that may occur if done improperly. We also offer generator rentals if required; $85.00 for a day rental.
Do you deliver and set-up?
We include free delivery and pick-up with all rentals within the City of Red Deer limits. Delivery and pick-up rates outside of the City of Red Deer are $1/km, to and from the event location. Set-up of the units is included with delivery as well!
How much room do you need for set-up?
All our units are different shapes and sizes. Unit dimensions can be found on each specific product description. Clearance of 3-4 feet around those dimensions will be required when the units are fully inflated. The equipment can not be touching any walls, fences, trees, etc.
What are the safety standards for use?
A designated adult must ALWAYS be present to supervise the Funhaus rental inflatables/ games during your off-site rental event, as to ensure all safety rules and standards are followed at all times and children are being assisted in and out of the units. To help prevent injury, no flips, somersaults, dangerous acts, climbing or sitting on walls or turrets. Only compatible age groups should play on the units at the same time, all users must remove shoes, glasses, ball caps, and other sharp or loose objects such as piercings, that could injure other users or damage the Funhaus unit(s). Additionally, absolutely no food, drinks, gum, candy, silly string, water guns/ pistols or foreign articles are to be used or brough into the units at any time, that may cause injury to users or damage the Funhaus unit(s). We also advise all users wear socks while using the unit(s). The Funhaus can provide attendants if requested at an additional hourly charge of $60/ hour per attendant.
Weather Safety Guidelines – We cannot set up in rain, snow, subzero temperatures, or winds over 15km/hr. We are flexible and can make a “game day decision” when it comes to the weather. Absolutely no refunds will be issued once equipment has been delivered and set up due to weather or non-use of the equipment.
Irish Pub Safety Guidelines – Our Irish Pub inflatable is considered a residential inflatable (not commercial), there for a 45-minute fire rating is inflicted on the rental/use of this unit. If you wish to have a heat source of any kind including a BBQ, space heater, etc., you will require a City Permit, which is the client’s responsibility to obtain before the event date. Additionally, if the Irish Pub is being rented for commercial use (not a private event), additional Special Event Insurance is required and is the client’s responsibility to show proof of additional insurance prior to event day.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $2 million liability insurance which covers the units, the blower and the setup. Please note: All individuals and companies that rent a Funhaus Ltd. unit are required to sign a liability waiver prior to set up; click here for the Liability Waiver, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org to acquire a copy. We CANNOT set up or release any units for pick-up unit the Liability Waiver is signed and submitted/returned!
Is there a deposit required to reserve a Funhaus rental?
Yes, we require a $100 deposit at the time of booking to reserve your rental booking, and payment in full three days prior to event date/ rental booking. We accept credit card payment over the phone, e-transfer to email@example.com, cash or cheque. Deposits are refundable if we are not able to set up due to weather, or cancellation is done within 24 hours of booking.

Can I host a party at a park?
Yes! Funhaus rentals are great for parties and community events at halls and parks, however it is the responsibility of the client to obtain a city permit if required prior to the event date. Additionally, generator rentals may be required depending on location standards.

How do I properly roll-up my rental for pick-up?
Please roll up inflatables similar to a tent; into thirds and as tight as possible.
